Strath Oykel Wind Farm is located approximately 1.5km south east of Doune, in the Sutherland region of the Highlands. The proposed development comprises 11 turbines up to 200m to tip.

Further Additional Information was submitted to the Energy Consents Unit in August 2026, to update the landscape and visual impacts of the proposed development, an update to the traffic and transport assessment and provide details of a potential grid connection to site.
