This project is at the early stages of development; an initial layout of up to 9 turbines with tip heights up to 200m has been prepared for the purposes of consulting with the local community and other key stakeholders. The Site sits adjacent to the consented Margree and Glenshimmeroch wind farms and would share certain infrastructure elements with them, such as site accesses and internal tracks. Assessment of the technical, environmental and commercial constraints of the Site is currently ongoing and will inform the final design of the wind farm. An Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Divot Hill is currently underway and will be submitted with the planning application.
EnergieKontor are currently consulting with members of the public on the proposed site layout. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis we are conducting this public consultation through other means, including online, in the interest of public safety and to reflect temporary guidance and legislation changes affecting public consultation in Scotland.Β The downloadable documents on this page contain the consultation material that we would have presented at a public exhibition and will continue to be updated as the project progresses. We would be grateful for any comments on our proposals, and these can be sent directly to the project manager either in an email to Michaela Corbett atΒ michaela.corbett@energiekontor.com, or through completing the online questionnaire.
