The Longhill Burn wind farm proposal is located approximately 5km south west of West Calder in West Lothian. Planning permission was granted in April 2020 to build 8 wind turbines at the site with tip heights of up to 180m. The proposed development would be operational for a 25 year period, after which the turbines would be removed and the site restored.
Longhill Burn wind farm has been operational since 2023.
